Information Statement: Re-working the Workstation - Update

***UPDATE 1***

Update is now around 80% complete and am now working to rewriting the Text portion of the workstation. This will include options to select specific products, which will be added as more updates are released...writing forecasts...and relaying messages from Non-NWS Sources.

I have added automatic generation of the Severe Thunderstorm Warning product to include the counties you selected, NWS office chosen,
Details like hail and wind gusts selected, and actions the public should take.

Am currently working on version 1.0.2 which significantly changes the workstation. I realized that the current way it looked and was coded, it would be very hard to add additional things later on and change it for future events. About 60% of the update is finished. Some of the major changes are noted below...

-The Workstation now somewhat acts like its own little operating system. (Mostly Opening and Closing Applications as of now)

- The GUI for AWIPS II has been completely redone. There is also the capability to select products from menus accessible by clicking OR hitting a specific key on your keyboard. The menus are CAVE...Models...Surface...Outlooks...Satellite...Radar...Maps...TextWS...and WarnGEN. Additional keyboard shortcuts are available.

-Adds the ability to change offices (currently only limited to PDT, but functionality is there), Watches/Warnings/Advisories Overlay, Days 1-3 SPC Severe Thunderstorm Outlooks, KPDT Radar Reflectivity using a new background, and detailed WarnGEN hazards for Severe Thunderstorm Warnings (Hail Size and Wind Gusts).

-And numerous other small changes...
